Timothy E. McGraw, PhD
Professor of Biochemistry
Professor of Biochemistry in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Dr. McGraw graduated with a BA at the University of Chicago in 1978 before moving to New York and completing his MA in 1983 and a PhD at New York University in 1985.
He worked on Transferrin receptor trafficking under the guidance of Dr. Fred Maxfield at Columbia University.
He then came to Weill Cornell Medical College as an Associate Professor of Biochemistry in 1997 before becoming Professor in 2004.
Research Technicians
Jennifer Wen
Jen is a Research Technician II and also our Lab Manager. She's our lab library and has worked on all the projects. Any questions regarding the cells, reagents or an assay, ask Jen!
She's a Brooklyn native but doesn't believe anything north of Prospect Park is Brooklyn.
Tahmina Hossain
Tahmina is a Research Technician I. She works on the animal projects and also does cell culture.
She claims she's a Zillennial, but barely knows any 90s songs.
Postdocs
Harsh Kumar, PhD
Harsh obtained his PhD in Cell Biology from UNESCO - Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad (India) in 2019. He is in charge of studying Glut4 trafficking in adipocytes and identifying new proteins involved in its intracellular journey.
Robert Downey Jr is flawless.
Lucie Yammine, PhD
Lucie graduated with a PhD in Cell Biology in 2018 at the University of Paris (France). She works on the GIPR projects, both on the cell trafficking of GIPR and mouse metabolism.

Isabella Parida, PhD
Isabella obtained her PhD in Agricultural Science from Tohoku University (Japan) in 2022. She recently joined the McGraw lab and is involved in the Glut4 trafficking projects.
